A rare antique Victorian Etruscan Revival carved opal portrait cameo ring. In the style of Wilhelm Schmidt (1845-1938). The opal matrix is expertly carved, in demi relief, with an exquisite play of colour. Mounted in 18 carat yellow gold and dating to circa 1880.
