Victorian Diamond Clover Pendant
A rare and important antique Victorian diamond ‘Clover’ pendant brooch. With a stunning trilogy of antique pear cut diamonds, one mounted to each leaf, with further antique cushion cut diamond highlights. The leaf diamond clusters interconnect to form a stunning three dimensional undulating floral ‘clover’ motif to the centre of a circular diamond set frame. The frame of antique cut diamonds is highlighted with larger diamonds at the four cardinal points. The pendant is fitted with a removable screw brooch fitting to the reverse to enable this jewel to be worn as a pendant or brooch. The antique diamonds are all mounted within beautiful cut down or ‘pie-crust’ collet settings and are conservatively estimated to weigh a total of in excess of eight carats combined. Wonderfully hand crafted in 15 carat gold and silver. This jewel is exceptional and is dating to circa 1850.
