A rare antique Georgian almandine garnet and rose cut diamond ‘Crowned Heart’ ring. The pear cut garnet is mounted within a cut down collet setting, with a closed back to the reverse and is surmounted with a crown, further set with four rose cut diamonds. The ring is beautifully hand engraved with a ‘ribbon’ design with a sunburst motif to the reverse. Hand crafted in 18 carat yellow gold and dating to circa 1820.
