Vintage Sapphire Cocktail Drop Earrings

A beautiful pair of vintage cocktail sapphire earrings. Mounted with a stunning collection of deep blue carré cut sapphires, running symmetrical to either side down the outer edges of the earrings. The sapphires are well matched in colour and estimated to weigh approximately five carats. The earrings are crafted as stylized graduated bombe motifs with attractive fluted detailing and fitted with clip fastenings to the reverse. Wonderfully hand crafted in rich 18 carat yellow gold, and dating to circa 1960.
