A beautiful vintage Cocktail floral double clip brooch by Boucheron. Each stunning flower clip is collet set to the centre with a bright round transitional brilliant cut diamond, within a frame of vivid circular cut rubies of an intense red hue. The beautifully worked stylized leaves and stems, beautifully crafted in both rose and yellow gold, are further accented with a collection of transitional brilliant cut diamonds set in platinum, with the addition of fine period millegrain detailing to the setting edges. The diamonds are estimated to weigh a total of 1.50 carats combined. The beautifully matched circular cut rubies are estimated to weigh a total of 4.30 carats combined. Fitted with a removable hinged brooch fitting to the reverse, enabling each flower to be worn individually as a stunning clip brooch when removed. Signed ‘Boucheron New York’ and numbered. Wonderfully hand crafted in 18 carat yellow and rose gold with platinum highlights, dating to circa 1940.
