An antique Victorian amethyst cross pendant riviere necklace. Mounted throughout with a wonderful collection of oval shaped amethysts, weighing in excess of sixty carats combined, each individually mounted in fine claw set crown pinnacle settings. The amethyst riviere suspending the fabulous cross pendant is finished with cannataille detailing. Wonderfully hand crafted throughout in 14 carat yellow gold and dating to circa 1895.
