A Victorian garnet and seed pearl heart motif fede ring. Featuring a heart motif clasped between two outstretched hands, in the ancient Roman ‘fede’ symbol of love and faith. A beautiful purple almandine garnet sits to the centre of the heart, framed by a series of cream white seed pearls. Hand crafted throughout in 15 carat yellow gold and bearing British hallmarks for Birmingham, 1895.
