A beautiful antique Early Victorian gemstone set acrostic ‘Regard’ ring. Mounted with a graduation of wonderful coloured gemstones, featuring a bright ruby, a vivid emerald, an almandine garnet, a purple amethyst, a further rich ruby and an oval rose cut diamond, all individually mounted within beautifully crafted closed back settings – the first letter of each stone spelling out the word ‘REGARD’. The ring is further mounted in rich 18 carat yellow gold beads, framed within decorative cannetaille bead detailing gemstones and dating to circa 1850.
