A rare vintage oval star ruby foliate engraved wide band ring, by Mario Buccellati. Mounted to the centre with a beautiful oval shaped high cabochon star ruby, estimated to weigh three carats, within a richly hand engraved wide band, with floral detailing and a wonderful textured finish, forming this collectable wide band ring. Expertly hand crafted throughout in rich 18 carat yellow gold. Signed ‘M.Buccellati‘, with the original case and dating to circa 1950.
