An important and striking rubellite tourmaline and diamond oval cluster ring. The imposing oval faceted rubellite, weighs 14.50 carats, and is set within a frame of marquise and round brilliant cut diamonds, weighing 1.40 carats in total. The rubellite displays a deep rich red hue and is an exceptional size. The ring is crafted throughout in platinum and 18 carat yellow gold and is dating to circa 1970.
