A stunning and rare vintage Art Deco cabochon blue star sapphire ring. Mounted to the centre with a certificated Sri Lankan ‘Ceylon’ blue oval cabochon cut star sapphire, featuring a very high translucency and rich blue hue to produce a sensational ‘jelly’ like appearance. The sapphire is certificated, confirmed as untreated, and estimated to weigh 13.70 carats. The ring is further mounted with a beautiful triangular cut diamond on either side, forming geometric stylised shoulders, estimated to weigh one carat in total. This beautiful ring is wonderfully hand crafted throughout in platinum and dating to circa 1930.
