A beautiful antique Georgian floral repoussé double vitrine locket pendant. Exquisitely formed in rich brocades of varying floral motifs to either side, a superb example of the repoussé work of the period. This large locket opens to reveal two glazed compartments within, each mounted with a beautifully hand painted portrait. The locket is suspended from a richly engraved floral circular pendant bale, large enough to fit upon a Georgian long chain necklace. Wonderfully hand crafted in rich high carat yellow gold, British and dating to circa 1800.
