Georgian Garnet & Turquoise Thimble

A rare antique Georgian cabochon garnet and turquoise floral thimble. Mounted with a collection of beautifully matched cabochon cut almandine garnets and azure blue cabochon cut turquoise, forming stylised budding flowers. The stones are mounted within a bouquet of oak leaves in green gold and early platinum stems. Wonderfully hand crafted throughout in rich 18 carat yellow & green gold with platinum detailing. British, with original fitted case and dating to circa 1810.
