Edwardian Aquamarine & Diamond Pendant
An impressive Edwardian aquamarine and diamond double drop cluster pendant. Mounted landscape to the centre with an antique cushion shaped aquamarine, estimated to weigh approximately 6.30 carats, within an old brilliant cut diamond set frame forming a ‘satellite’ spray. The landscape claw set aquamarine suspends an articulated old brilliant cut diamond set knife edged bar fitting, further suspending a superb antique pear shaped aquamarine, estimated to weigh 4.70 carats, to a similar diamond set ‘satellite’ spray frame. The stunning aquamarines are of an exceptional and intense rich blue in hue. The collection of bright and lively diamonds are estimated to weigh a combined 1.50 carats in total. Expertly hand crafted in platinum and 18 carat yellow gold, with millegrain detailing throughout and fitted with the original integral trace link chain and accompanied with a period fitted case. This rare pendant is dating to circa 1905.
