Violet Sapphire Knot Brooch

A beautiful antique Austrian violet sapphire knot brooch pin. Mounted to the centre with an antique circular cut violet sapphire within a collet setting and fine millegrain detailing. The knot is formed of a tied cylindrical pipe motif with the sapphire to the centre. Hand crafted in rich 14 carat yellow gold with a hinged brooch pin fitting to the reverse and is dating to circa 1900.
