Outside McKenna & Co

McKenna & Co was founded in 1982 as a partnership by Catherine & Michael McKenna. Initially the partners dealt exclusively with the trade, supplying many fine jewellers and museums world-wide.

In 1986 the partners opened their first retail shop in Brompton Cross in London. Within two years the partners had outgrown the first shop and acquired the current larger Regency townhouse premises in nearby Beauchamp Place, Knightsbridge. The partners recently incorporated the business to facilitate expansion and to enable the appointment of additional directors. McKenna & Co has developed a reputation for supplying finest quality wearable and collectable jewellery, dating from the 18th to the latter half of the 20th centuries.

Many ‘signed’ pieces are in stock. A selection of diamond engagement rings is also offered. A particular speciality is the sourcing of investment-quality natural saltwater pearls and certificated white and coloured diamonds. A range of contemporary jewellery is also available. The business takes pride in providing the very highest level of personal customer service regardless of the selling price of an item. McKenna & Co has assisted many customers to build significant collections of jewellery for investment purposes. The business also has a well-earned reputation for absolute discretion. Customers’ details are never divulged to the media or to any third party, which is why the business is entrusted with the patronage of many celebrities and other people in the public eye. Mailing lists are kept completely confidential and are never sold, rented or passed on in any way.
